Merch design is some of the most gratifying work in the music industry because it is DIRECTLY for the fans.

Shirts, hoodies, and hats are so fun to design because its an oppurtunity to create an extension of the band's sound. Sometimes there's certain restrictions, like how many colors can be printed, and I like that challenge.

A truly great band shirt will attract people that don't even listen to the band - and that's not a bad thing! You don't need to be able to name three songs by the band, if you like the shirt, it was made for YOU.
